Vertical: With a suction cup dildo on a flat vertical surface (like a wall), you only have two options for vaginal use: you face the dildo or you turn your ass toward it. As someone who really likes an upward curve , I typically face toward , and I have their coronal ridges pointing up, toward the ceiling. The disadvantage of this position, though, is that—unless the dildo is really long and squishy, or has an extreme upward curve—it puts a lot of pressure on the lower back and knees too. (Unless you have a wall cutout: , next.) I have to angle my pelvis forward and push back from the wall in order to get the angle I like.
Anally or vaginally, butt-to-the-wall can be awkward. I’ve tried it both standing up and on my knees, doggy style. While I’m standing with a dildo entering me from behind, I often feel like I’m going to fall over when I try to get a good rhythm going. And when the dildo is lower on the wall and I’m on my knees, my feet and legs get in the way. Plus, I’m not getting any additional clitoral stimulation when I have a dildo entering me from behind (like I would if I was facing the toy and using it vaginally). Your mileage, of course, may vary depending on your anatomy. Overall, with , dildo-from-behind is a dildo sex position that I find uncomfortable vaginally, and a bit awkward anally too.
Really, everything I said about “dildo on chair, ” above, applies here. You have to have the right length, and it’s more about grinding than thrusting. Shallow thrusts are easier, unless you’ve got super-toned legs. It’s also much better for anal than vaginal, IMO! (Especially if you have a sensitive cervix!) The sigmoid bend of the colon—the “wall” you may find yourself hitting—average about 7 inches inside the rectum. So if you’ve got a dildo shorter than that, you can sit on it and rock.
This is the holy grail of suction-cup-dildo screwing for me, for both anal play and as a vaginal toy. You better believe that the first thing I was excited about when I saw this bathroom was this strip of wall (see the pic above). Thin-strip-of-wall dildo usage has the advantage of letting you bend your knees to really thrust, without making you arch your shoulders back. (Do I sound feeble, complaining about backaches? I just like to be comfortable, y’all.) Still, getting the right angle can be a slight problem with a firm dildo. See make penetration more comfortable for me here. This spot can feel amazing with the right toy.
Anally, dildo-on-wall is awesome because my legs don’t get smushed like in all the other vertical suction cup positions—they’re able to stick out behind me, kneeling doggy-style; and I can really control the speed. It’s a little hard to get the dildo mounted at the right height at first; I suggest inserting the toy and then sticking it onto the wall. This may involve some fumbling, but it works out in the end!
